Holy fucking shit cock!

I apologize for the title but...that's pretty much all I can say right now.

My life right now is just one big cluster fuck of uncertainty.

And I have no control over anything.

And everything is all ass backwards.

Take for example:

I'm trying to move out on my own for the first time, learn how to drive because I'm 20 and I still don't know how (long story I'll tell another time), I'm trying to get a job, and I'm getting ready to start school in January.

So here are my problems:

1. I can't get to school because I live out in the boonies and my school is about 25 miles away and there's no bus out here and I don't drive.

So, I need to either A) move back into town and get my own place so I can take the bus to school or B) learn how to drive so I can get to school.

But in order to do either of those things I need to get a job and have money to pay for my own place and/or a car.

2. Even if I did have a car I wouldn't know how to drive it because my mom didn't have a car for a long time and now that she does she works nights and sleeps all day so I have no one to teach me.

3. The closest place I could get a job is about 10 miles away but to really have a chance I'd need to find one in town...where I can't get to.

4. Even if I had a way to get to town to look for a job I have no nice interview/work outfits and my glasses are both sewn AND taped together in two places, my lenses are all scratched up, and I've had them for about five years so the prescription is way wrong so they often give me head aches.

5. I can't afford new glasses or clothes without getting a job and I don't think my mom can save up enough money by January because she sucks at paying her bills and life in general.

So, you see!

My life is like a constant catch 22!

Ugh!

And I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm bitching but, I just feel like I'm in some kind of relay race and I'm all tensed up and I'm just waiting for the baton to be passed to me and to be able to run my hardest and it's just not coming and I see all theses other people passing me by and *sigh*

Ok. I'm ranting way too much because I've been up all night.

Perhaps if I come back and read this with a clear head it'll give me some perspective and I can map out some sort of plan or find a solution.

Cheers for now.

Meh, I've been sew-sew.

Ugh!

Summer's gone. Fall is here. And I'm super bummed.

Kinda. I mean, I don't really mind fall all that much but fall means that winter is coming!

And I hate winter!

Especially since I live in a place where it doesn't even really snow all that much.

I'll snow for a few days and we'll get a few inches or so and then it all turns to slush and then to ice.

And as if people weren't already bad enough drivers here (Canadian's, I'm talking to you!) then nature has to go and add ice to the mix and you got people sliding around like a kid on their first pair of skates!

It isn't pretty.

But, I digress.

News!

Paper maching is out, sewing is in!

I always go through this sewing phase when Project Runway comes back on but after 5 seasons I haven't gotten any better. Lol.

Right now I'm making a medium sized sting ray stuffed animal.

Why a sting ray you ask?

Because they're bad ass, that's why.

But I fucked up and got my ray's confused. It's shaped like a sting ray but colored like a manta ray.

Ah well. Smata rays can be bad ass too.

Hmm...what else have I been up too...

Well, the vegetarian thing didn't last long.

I just can't dig the veggies all the time.

But I have cut back on my meats. Been eating more fish lately.

Still have gotten around to any painting but I did make some pretty cute bird feeders for my ma.

And oh!

The recorder!

Yes, well it's been going quite well but I want to get another new instrument.

Any suggestions?

Blah.

Fucking September.

A damn useless month if you ask me.

Alrighty, that's all I've got to report for today.

Peace yo!

I like my instruments like I like my women, cheap and easy!

Ok, so, after a days worth of searching I finally found it!

The most perfect instrument ever!

Well, for me at least.

It's small, cheap, and so easy that even a small child could master it within an hour.

BEHOLD!!!

The Jew's Harp:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew%27s_harp

It's actually a pretty fun little thing to play but, after a while the vibrations start to hurt my teeth and the short range of sounds get's a little boring.

Yes, I actually found something that was actually too easy for me. GASP!

So, I went back yesterday and got a recorder also.

Which is also small, cheap, and easy to play.

And I love this thing!

In a matter of just a few days I've been able to master a whole slew of beginner songs.

And the thing only cost me 8 bucks!

So, there's that...

As for the art part of my goals, I haven't gotten around to watercolor painting yet because I got side tracked paper macheing. Lol.

I love paper macheing because, again, it's cheap and easy, but I also hate it because shit takes FOREVER.

Seriously, days to dry. And then you have to put layer after layer and omg, I just want it to be done already!!!

But patience is a virtue I guess.

Let's see, what else.

Oh, right, so I found a whole bunch of awesome and actually pretty delicious looking vegan recipes on http://www.veganchef.com.

My mom and I are going to go grocery shopping later today and buy the ingredients to make a Giant Grinder Sandwich, Mediterranean lettuce raps, and Wild West Rice Salad Sandwiches.

I'll try and find a camera and post some pics and talk about the process.

Welp, that's all I got for today.

Cheers!

Oh my Tim Gunn!

So Project Runway, one of my all time favorite shows, came back on the other night.

One of the contestants, Christopher Straub, (who also happened to win the first challenge) mentioned a few times that, due to financial issues, he'd never had any formal training and had never been able go to school for fashion and design.

But yet here he is, doing what he loves, making bank, and now on national television competing for $100,000 and hanging out with the lovely Miss Gunn and the smoking hot Heidi Klum!

All because he worked and studied hard and had the passion, guts, and determination to do it all and make his dreams come true!

Which got me thinking...

Um, yea, I have no where near the work ethic, self discipline, or desire to be that hardcore about anything.

Short attention span, you know how it is...

But, there are things that I would like to learn and do.

Small things.

Like...

Learning how to make a cool piece of clothing,

or

learn how to bake delicious pastries,

or

learn how to build a desk!

Ya know, something hobby-ish that wont require tons of time, money, or brains. Lol.

Oh, you get the picture!

So I've decided to compile a list of random things I'd like to learn to help motivate me to actually get out and do them!

I'll just start with a few easy ones and keep you guys updated as I go along.

For beginners I want to:

1. Learn how to play a small instrument.

2. Learn how to cook some vegetarian meals.

3. Learn how to watercolor paint.

I'm going to head into town later today (and yes, I said 'head into town' because I honestly live out in the boonies. Or, in 'East Jesus nowhere', as my friend Katie would say. Lol.) and hit up some of the local music, art, and antique stores to see what I can find in terms of instruments and paints.

I'll try and report back asap!

Cheers for now darlings!

Juicy, random, awesomness!

Yo!

The names Evelyn June, Ms. Jackson if ya nasty!

But some people call me Maurice cuz I speak of the pompitous of love.

...

.....

...

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I have no idea what I'll be posting here. Yea, I have no specific theme or idea in mind.

I can tell you that it probably won't be important or deep or meaningful or significant at all.

So please don't get your hopes up. You should probably leave your expectations at the door.

BUT!

I promise that whatever I post will always have at least 5 rad points!

Er...whatever those are.

So stick around, hang in there, get comfortable, kick off your shoes, put up your feet, take off a load, have another helping, grab another beer, take another hit, tap that twice, close the door, open the window, turn left, and keep up with me!

Oh, and a few quick warnings: As you can probably already tell, I can't spell, I usually blog when I'm extremely tired so I ramble a lot, I like to double space all my sentences, and I use a ton of exclamation points because it makes me feel more extreme. If you can't handle any of it then take a hike. I don't wanna hear any bitching.

So yea, now that that's out of the way...

Here's some awesome linkage:

1. www.thesixyone.com

It's kinda like Pandora but way better because you have more control over what you listen to and you can share music on Facebook and crap like that.

I'm pretty much addicted to it.

(Add me! Look for MissEvelynJune)

2. www.isketch.org

Umm, why didn't someone think of this sooner? Picktonary on the interwebz played by assholes? FUCK YEAH!

I totally rule at this game btw.

Wanna play me? Hit me up! I'm down for a game anytime, baby!

3. www.nickbrandt.com

This guys photography is mindfuckingly amazing.

Seriously, as soon as I win the lottery I'm totally buying one of each of his prints.

4.

*Sigh* I wish I was bad ass enough to be able to swing dance.

But unfortunately I think the momentum of all my weight being swung around that fast would offset the gravitational orbit of the earth and send us hurdling out of alignment. Lol.

5. www.youtube.com/katereadsbooks

Subscribe to and watch all of Kate's videos.

No, seriously.

You'll thank me later.

She's hella fuckin funny and awesome and her Youtube style is quite refreshing.

The only problem, she hasn't been making enough new videos lately.

What the hell, Kate?

What.

The.

Hell.

6. http://www.myspace.com/gossipband

Um, so, Beth Ditto is pretty much my hero.

In fact, she's so fucking awesome that even that flaming homo, Karl Lagerfeld wants to motorboat her titties and Kate Moss finally stopped throwing up just so she could look as good as Beth.

And if their music isn't good enough for you, you at least have to give Beth Ditto mad props for being able to rock out in front of a huge crowd in nothing but black lace panties.

Nathan pretty much brought back the porn star mustache and I haven't wanted to fuck a drummer so bad since, well, ever. Lol. Hannah definitely holds it down for all the lady drummers out there!

Alrighty, that's all I got time to post for now.

I gotta piss real bad but I'm all outta TP and paper towels only work for so long before you start gettin a rash.

Peace nukkas!
