Ok, so, after a days worth of searching I finally found it!
The most perfect instrument ever!
Well, for me at least.
It's small, cheap, and so easy that even a small child could master it within an hour.
BEHOLD!!!
The Jew's Harp:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew%27s_harp
It's actually a pretty fun little thing to play but, after a while the vibrations start to hurt my teeth and the short range of sounds get's a little boring.
Yes, I actually found something that was actually too easy for me. GASP!
So, I went back yesterday and got a recorder also.
Which is also small, cheap, and easy to play.
And I love this thing!
In a matter of just a few days I've been able to master a whole slew of beginner songs.
And the thing only cost me 8 bucks!
So, there's that...
As for the art part of my goals, I haven't gotten around to watercolor painting yet because I got side tracked paper macheing. Lol.
I love paper macheing because, again, it's cheap and easy, but I also hate it because shit takes FOREVER.
Seriously, days to dry. And then you have to put layer after layer and omg, I just want it to be done already!!!
But patience is a virtue I guess.
Let's see, what else.
Oh, right, so I found a whole bunch of awesome and actually pretty delicious looking vegan recipes on http://www.veganchef.com.
My mom and I are going to go grocery shopping later today and buy the ingredients to make a Giant Grinder Sandwich, Mediterranean lettuce raps, and Wild West Rice Salad Sandwiches.
I'll try and find a camera and post some pics and talk about the process.
So Project Runway, one of my all time favorite shows, came back on the other night.
One of the contestants, Christopher Straub, (who also happened to win the first challenge) mentioned a few times that, due to financial issues, he'd never had any formal training and had never been able go to school for fashion and design.
But yet here he is, doing what he loves, making bank, and now on national television competing for $100,000 and hanging out with the lovely Miss Gunn and the smoking hot Heidi Klum!
All because he worked and studied hard and had the passion, guts, and determination to do it all and make his dreams come true!
Which got me thinking...
Um, yea, I have no where near the work ethic, self discipline, or desire to be that hardcore about anything.
Short attention span, you know how it is...
But, there are things that I would like to learn and do.
Small things.
Like...
Learning how to make a cool piece of clothing,
or
learn how to bake delicious pastries,
or
learn how to build a desk!
Ya know, something hobby-ish that wont require tons of time, money, or brains. Lol.
Oh, you get the picture!
So I've decided to compile a list of random things I'd like to learn to help motivate me to actually get out and do them!
I'll just start with a few easy ones and keep you guys updated as I go along.
For beginners I want to:
1. Learn how to play a small instrument.
2. Learn how to cook some vegetarian meals.
3. Learn how to watercolor paint.
I'm going to head into town later today (and yes, I said 'head into town' because I honestly live out in the boonies. Or, in 'East Jesus nowhere', as my friend Katie would say. Lol.) and hit up some of the local music, art, and antique stores to see what I can find in terms of instruments and paints.
But some people call me Maurice cuz I speak of the pompitous of love.
...
.....
...
Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I have no idea what I'll be posting here. Yea, I have no specific theme or idea in mind.
I can tell you that it probably won't be important or deep or meaningful or significant at all.
So please don't get your hopes up. You should probably leave your expectations at the door.
BUT!
I promise that whatever I post will always have at least 5 rad points!
Er...whatever those are.
So stick around, hang in there, get comfortable, kick off your shoes, put up your feet, take off a load, have another helping, grab another beer, take another hit, tap that twice, close the door, open the window, turn left, and keep up with me!
Oh, and a few quick warnings: As you can probably already tell, I can't spell, I usually blog when I'm extremely tired so I ramble a lot, I like to double space all my sentences, and I use a ton of exclamation points because it makes me feel more extreme. If you can't handle any of it then take a hike. I don't wanna hear any bitching.
So yea, now that that's out of the way...
Here's some awesome linkage:
1. www.thesixyone.com
It's kinda like Pandora but way better because you have more control over what you listen to and you can share music on Facebook and crap like that.
I'm pretty much addicted to it.
(Add me! Look for MissEvelynJune)
2. www.isketch.org
Umm, why didn't someone think of this sooner? Picktonary on the interwebz played by assholes? FUCK YEAH!
I totally rule at this game btw.
Wanna play me? Hit me up! I'm down for a game anytime, baby!

This guys photography is mindfuckingly amazing.
Seriously, as soon as I win the lottery I'm totally buying one of each of his prints.

*Sigh* I wish I was bad ass enough to be able to swing dance.
But unfortunately I think the momentum of all my weight being swung around that fast would offset the gravitational orbit of the earth and send us hurdling out of alignment. Lol.

Subscribe to and watch all of Kate's videos.
No, seriously.
You'll thank me later.
She's hella fuckin funny and awesome and her Youtube style is quite refreshing.
The only problem, she hasn't been making enough new videos lately.
What the hell, Kate?
What.
The.
Hell.

Um, so, Beth Ditto is pretty much my hero.
In fact, she's so fucking awesome that even that flaming homo, Karl Lagerfeld wants to motorboat her titties and Kate Moss finally stopped throwing up just so she could look as good as Beth.
And if their music isn't good enough for you, you at least have to give Beth Ditto mad props for being able to rock out in front of a huge crowd in nothing but black lace panties.
Nathan pretty much brought back the porn star mustache and I haven't wanted to fuck a drummer so bad since, well, ever. Lol. Hannah definitely holds it down for all the lady drummers out there!
Alrighty, that's all I got time to post for now.
I gotta piss real bad but I'm all outta TP and paper towels only work for so long before you start gettin a rash.
